In 2007, we started transforming cattle pasture by planting

a 1000 mixed native tree species and fruit trees to feed the wildlife,

fill in watershed areas and create a food forest and shade.

The sanctuary is also home to a variety of naturally existing bromeliads, orchids and

other epiphytes found in trees and on rocks. The sanctuary has medicinal herbs and plants,

24 species of bamboo and a variety of unusual organic fruits and vegetables
